5th Grade Guidance Curriculum

5th Grade-  

We will start out the year working on getting to know each other. I will visit each 5th grade classroom one day per week.  Some lessons will come from the Be Good People Curriculum- https://sites.google.com/scred.k12.mn.us/scredsel/home 

Topics that we may address throughout the year include:

Empathy

Communication

Conflict resolution/Perspective taking

Goal Setting

Test Anxiety

Mrs. Avellino also coordinates with the Auburn Police Department for the L.E.A.D program LEAD 

IF there is time we may cover the topic of multiple intelligences
