Hola clase. I am so happy to be able to spend time with you teaching you Spanish. All work for my class can be found here on my class page, if you are absent you can take a look here for any work that you may have missed. You will need a notebook for my class. Face vocabulary:
Las ceja(s)-eye brows
La frente- the forehead
Los ojos(s)-eyes
La nariz- the nose
Los pomulo(s)-the cheeks
Los dientes- the teeth
La boca- the mouth
La lengua- the tongue
La barbilla/el menton-the chin
La cabeza- the head
Las orejas- the ears
El pelo- the hair

Today we are going to learn to identify the five senses in Spanish. Los cinco sentidos :
La vista- the sense of sight - Yo veo _ I see con mis ojos
El oido- the sense of hearing - Yo escucho con mis oidos o orejas- I listen with my ears
El olfato- the sense of smell- Yo huelo con mi nariz
El tacto- the sense of touch- Yo siento o toco con mi piel y mis manos
El gusto- the sense of taste- Yo saboreo con mi boca y mi lengua

Today we are going to continue and finish our lesson of January 29th. Depending if time permits we will begin a new lesson.
New lesson-Today we will review the number 1-10, and we will learn how to say and spell numbers 11-20. Also we will learn how to ask and answer the question of how old are you. (Cuantos a~nos tienes?). I will be handing out a packet of worksheets, please make sure you keep it in your Spanish notebook. This unit will take several classes to complete, please make sure you do not misplace your packet.

Today I am going to learn all about you and you are going to be able to share about yourself with the class. We are going to fill out the worksheet "Sobre Mi." I will let you know about my self as well. Some of the things that we are going to be able to learn and share in Spanish about yourself are what you did over the summer? How old you are?
