2018 sees the hub beginning its 4th year and like the previous years we are confident growth will continue. Look below at some of the successes that have been achieved over the past four years.
Monthly user numbers have increased over 200% to around 10,000 visits per month
The hub is used 7 days per week
All of the businesses created are still up and running – bucking the UK trend that 75% of new businesses fail within the first 18 months. (Source Bloomberg)

We continue to welcome new groups all of the time and 2018 sees YMCA begin to deliver much needed community outreach in the area
We have helped over 320 clients move closer to the jobs market through our partnership working and continue to work with job seekers and entrepreneurs keen to start up in business.
We have delivered a very successful crime prevention project working with victims of crime to install affordable CCTV systems that have received great praise. This year marked the 100th installation of CCTV for victims of crime.
Our PAT testing course has seen its 400th successful learner – spreading the word about electrical safety throughout the borough and helping user groups cut costs.
The Chess club, who had nowhere to operate, now have England internationals at child level. This year the club can boast 2 number one ranked players from the area.
The faith groups that operate from the hub offer support to the local community.
Our take your tablet course has seen over 80 learners increase confidence and knowledge with all things IT across the borough.
We are a base to a hugely successful Gymnastics group who like the chess club, were left homeless until they were welcomed to the hub. This club continues to grow and thrive.
