Current Activities Delivered at the Hub

Please see below a list of current activities delivered here at the Hub.

Monday:

6am - 7:30am - Walsall CAD (Community with Anxiety or Depression)

A group to meet and chat before the working day begins. Get a cuppa and meet new people, share experiences. IT suite also available to use .

10am - Midday - Mixed mental health peer support - come along for a chat and advice with Rachael.

9am - 12pm Bloxwich indoor bowels club (September to March only)  Come and try your hand at bowels during the indoor season.- External partner.

12:30 - 2pm - The Ryecroft Home school chess academy for children.

1pm - 2pm Athlefit. - Gentle exercise aimed at those who are new to any form of exercise. Created by UK athletics. 

3pm - 6pm Energy assessment outreach. - Make an appointment for a home energy assessment and advice.

6pm - 7pm  Pauls women only keep fit. Join Paul, a local resident and keep fit.  - External partner.


Tuesday:

10am - 1pm Pub games.  - Join us for a cuppa , make new friends and join in a game of dominoes , Cribbage,  Pool, darts and other games. 

10am - 12pm  Training: we deliver a selection of training courses, see the training section for a full list.

12pm - 3pm Walsall connected. We help using the council's online portal to help and advise.

3pm - 6pm Energy assessment outreach. - Make an appointment for a home energy assessment and advice.

5:30pm - 8pm SATORI MMA - Join the excellent Satori Mixed Martial Arts club - External Partner. Click here for more information


Wednesday:

9am - 2pm Job Club: Join us, JCP and the excellent Walsall Works team who can provide help and support back into work. 

11am - 2pm - Remembering classic sports. Join us to remember classic sports from the past on the big screen.

11am - 12:30pm - Bingo. Join us for a cuppa and a game of bingo.

4:30 - 6pm Walsall M.A.D. (Men with anxiety & depression support group)

6pm - 7pm Strong kids. Exercise and confidence building for children.

Thursday 

10am - 12pm Employability Training:

Join us for free training in the following subjects on a rolling basis:

First Aid

Introduction to CCTV  law and installation

PAT 

Introduction to mobile app development

Introduction to small business

1pm - 2pm - Chair aerobics. Join us for a gentle exercise and advice session.

10am - 12pm Junior Chess - Join Ray and Eunis for chess training.

Sunday:

9am - 12pm General help advice and training. We hold an advice surgery.

10am - 12pm - Church service.
