I believe it is Charles Darwin who said "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent... but the one most responsive to change."

Our resilience is being called upon now.  The practice of Reiki is a tool we can use to tap into our innate wisdom so we can come to the surface of the turbulence, find our buoyancy, connect with our inner core, our true Self.  We are always moving toward homeostasis, toward balance.  When we know our center is solid, the chaos around us doesn't send us into so much turmoil, and we can operate from a place of inner peace.  This is where healing occurs.

Reiki is more that a physical healing modality.  It is a way of life, based on the precepts put forth by its founder Mikao Usui in the early 20th century:

Just for today, do not anger, do not fear, be grateful, be true to your way and your being, have compassion for yourself and all living beings.

Contact me to set up a Reiki session.  We can talk on Zoom, Facetime, phone or text, and then set ourselves up to do a remote Reiki session during which you can sit in meditation, take a bath, be comfortable lying on your couch, or take a walk,  during which I will do a healing session with and for you, sharing Reiki with you, allowing you to tap into your wellspring of healing - body, mind and spirit, strengthening your immune system and emotional body to help keep you present, able to thrive and tap into inner reserves of joy..

My purpose is to be a facilitator of healing and wholeness, a spiritual director, counselor, a mirror, a witness.  Each session is different, according to the needs of the person sitting across from me.

Offering can be by PayPal, check, cash or Venmo.  The Reiki or other body work is free, but I have expenses, too, and reciprocity for my time and energy helps us both.
