Mildred L. Day School

This year we kicked off the school year with a large collaborative art project.  Each student traced, designed and cut a feather to put into a large set of wings inspired by Kelsey Montague's Wings Around The World project.  In class, we read One Word For Kids and upon the feather, the students wrote inspiring words to live by.  Each student will soon recieve a photograph of themselves with the wings on their shoulders.
