Jazz Band
2022-2023
The IHSMA fall bulletin had the 2021-2022 R-S jazz band as having the highest overall GPA in Iowa. This is the fourth time that R-S has achieved this honor. R-S had the top GPA in Iowa in 2013-2014, 2015-2016, and 2020-2021. Congrats to the jazz band students!
Congrats to the 2020-2021 R-S Jazz Band for receiving a division 1 rating at the Iowa High School Music Association Jazz Festival for the 20th consecutive year.

🔴 The 2019-2020 R-S Jazz Band finished in 1st place at districts for the eleventh time in the last fourteen years and qualified for the Iowa Jazz Championships for the 18th straight year!
🔴 The Iowa Jazz Championships recognizes the top eight bands in each class. No results past eighth place are made public.
