Welcome to the Roland-Story High School Instrumental Music web site. We are excited to provide this site for our students, parents, R-S community, and anyone that is interested in our school's band program. Our band department has a strong tradition of excellence.

Upcoming events:Spring Concert at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 5th.Tulip Time Parade at 2:45 PM on Friday, May 8th.IHSMA Large-Group Festival @ R-S. Warm-up time is 10:40 AM and the performance time is 11:05 AM.
We hope to see everyone at these performances!
Congrats to the jazz kids on having 5 outstanding solo/performer awards. The most awards of any 2A band. Students receiving awards were on the following instruments: alto sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, and drum set. Way to go jazz on finishing in 4th place!
