Loud and Clear Program
The Loud and Clear Program was created by the Oregon Children's Theater to help students become confident, engaging speakers and achieve benchmark standards in speaking and listening, all in a safe and supportive learning environment. Third graders work for 50 minutes the first four Thursdays of the school year with an Oregon Children's Theater coach.
Student's work on:
- Techniques for achieving good diction
- How to use the voice to creat volume and inflection
- Ways to practice making eye contact
- The structure of a strong speech
- The importance of rehearsal for improvement
- Advanced presentation skills including fluency and posture
