CAD exercise 8:
Inspired by these Jelly shoes I had when I was little.Â
The vision is for a cartoonish shoe, so another point of inspiration is Bratz.
Searched for a heel with similar proportions & matched it to my drawing.

My edit of the original logo 👉
Drawn from the visual narrative of "sever the blight" by Naomi Udu,Â
aka hemlocke springs.
The design features medieval flail inspired spikes, contrasted with soft, round curves. I went with this direction because though her music is soft and feminine; her narratives feature spiteful and tragic characters.

CAD exercise 1:
This week your task is to design, model and render a set of three drinking glasses. In class some commands we used for the modeling portion included... Curve, Polyline, Revolve, BooleanDifference, Box, PointsOn, PointsOff, InsertControlPoint, Weight, Rebuild, Cylinder and Shell. We also explored curve versus solid modeling workflows. Use any method that appeals to you for this assignment.Â
Feedback:
using a PBR as a ground material can be unrealistic, because it acts as the entire ground
ie. a slab of marble which goes off into the distance no longer reads as a table top
model a plane or simple backdrop-- rather than an ambiguous ground
