Western Region Middle School Music Festival

The Western Region Middle School Music Festival is an amazing experience for the student that is seeking a higher level of performance.  The festival is open by audition to students from across Fairfield County.  Students can audition for the the WRMS band, chorus, jazz ensemble and string groups.

The WRMS  group is different in that aside from the audition date, the festival rehearsals and performance take place on a Friday (after school) and a Saturday.  That's it!  No weekly practices!  Of course, students that audition and are accepted are expected to know the music by the festival weekend.  Occasionally, students audition for more than one group.  Should the student be invited to participate in more than one group, they can choose which group they would like to be a part of.  Students may not participate in more than one ensemble at the festival.

Information for band and jazz auditions can be found below.
