Kindergarten students will identify story characters with the book The Pout Pout Fish. Students in first grade will decode long "oo" words with the book Billy Bloo is Stuck in Goo. Grade 2 students will decode -ight words with the book The Fight. Third grade classes will review fiction call number order. Fourth and fifth grade classes will review library skills with Kahoot! Sixth grade classes will use specialized dictionaries to find information.

Hello, I am Miss Latoche and I am the librarian at RES! Each student in Kindergarten thru grade 6 has one scheduled library class per week. Students come to the library with their homeroom class to check out books and develop information literacy skills following Richland's A-B-C-D-E "specials" schedule.
