Students may earn a work-based learning (full or half) credit if their placement position aligns with their IGP.
120 hours of work or service could earn students a full credit.
40-60 hours of work or service could earn students a half credit.
Students do receive a grade at the end of the semester and are required to submit graded assignments.
Students are required to submit monthly pay stubs to account for their hours.
WBL placements (aka jobs or service opportunities) must entail training in which specific skills are developed and utilized.
Students are required to be formally evaluated by their supervisors on at least 2 occasions during the wbl placement.
