Creating Groups: Matching Staff & Tiers

Once all tiers are finalized (using the RCS Guidelines), you are ready to assign teachers, assistants and support personnel to run your intervention/enrichment groups. Keep in mind instructional strengths of your personnel.

Because of earlier decisions made about who will be available during the intervention/enrichment time, you will know how many possible groups you can create. There is no set number for how many students can be in a tiered group. It is always best practice to have smaller Tier 3 groups, but there is no maximum number of students allowed in groups.
