Students learn in many different ways. For many students (and adults) it is helpful to see the words as a learner hears the words in a video. This is also especially helpful when you are accessing a video in a non-native language. For our ELL (English Language Learner) students, adding subtitles/captions can be helpful as they learn in your class.

Follow the directions below to begin uploading your videos to YouTube. Closed Captioning is typically added to videos uploaded to YouTube within 24 hours.

Note: students with limited internet access will not be able to download videos from YouTube. Continue uploading to Drive as well for students to have access to download.
