Introductions

WRITING CORRECT INTRODUCTIONS

All speeches much be accompanied with the correct introduction:

•         Bible Memorization: Scripture references and translation (e.g. NIV, ESV, NKJV, etc.), AND, at the end of their Bible verses, they need to give a 1-3 sentence explanation of the verses in their own words.

•         Poetry: Title and Author

•         Fable and Folklore: Title, author and moral application learned from the fable.  Moral application MUST be written and inserted if not already stated within the fable.

•         Dramatic Bible Prose: Title and scripture address from which the story is found. Say:  "[Title] based on [Reference]" before you begin.

Do NOT include your name or school in any introduction.
