Welcome to the RCS Speech & Academics Website (2024-25)!
This site contains information about the RCS Elementary Speech Meets, as well as the Elementary and Middle School qualifiers and meets for the PSIA District Contest. Please click on the links below for more information about each event!
I. RCS ELEMENTARY SPEECH MEETS (GRADES 1-5)
All RCS Elementary School students in grades 1-5 will participate in the RCS speech meets on January 10, 2025 (for grades 4-5) and January 17, 2025 (for grades 1-3).

II. PSIA DISTRICT SPEECH MEET QUALIFIERS (GRADES 6-8)
RCS MIDDLE SCHOOL PSIA SPEECH QUALIFIERS
All RCS Middle School students who wish to compete for a spot on the RCS PSIA Speech Team should register at the links below by December 6, 2024.
6th Graders may register for the Oral (Poetry) Interpretation qualifier. Please click HERE for more information and to register.
7th and 8th Graders may register for the qualifiers for Oral (Poetry) Interpretation, Modern Oratory and/or Impromptu. Please click HERE for more information and to register.
III. PSIA DISTRICT ACADEMIC MEET QUALIFIERS (GRADES 1-8)
All RCS students in grades 1-8 who are interested in competing in the PSIA Academic Contests should register their areas of interest by Friday, December 6, 2024. Please visit the Academic Events page of this website and sign up under your child's grade level.
Qualifiers will be held, as needed, based on interest in each event.
