Students: You will be working in groups to answer key questions about epidemiology and science method, viruses, how they spread, more on the biology of Ebola specifically, and international policies and protocols for healthcare workers on how to deal with this disease.
Following your research, you will revisit the two debate questions posed in class (also listed on the document) and answer the post research questions. We will form a committee or model UN or other role play to debate the questions using the evidence. A class vote will determine the actions of the United States (on federal and state levels) in this matter.
You will hand in: Your pre- and post evaluation sheets; your reflection on what you learned; your team responses to the debate and the evidence you used to support your opinion. You may share your results via google docs for ease of access.
