As your returning coach for the 14th year, I am extremely excited to embark on a new year of working hard and being competitive. The upcoming year holds some great new things for us as a team, and it also allows us to play our surrounding, more rival schools more often than before. With the new schedule (now online @ AZPreps365.com) and with an experienced team, I am sure we will make a real impact on the rankings this year. All girls who are looking to play badminton at Pinnacle are required to complete a physical examination and brainbook testing to participate. To access the required documents, brainbook testing, and parent consent video, please use the following url address: https://www.pvschools.net/Page/6182).

Who makes the team?
Girls looking to tryout and joint the badminton team must be students first and athletes second. Nothing comes before our school work here at Pinnacle, and all girls will need to keep a GPA of all “C”s or better to continue to participate (extenuating circumstances may apply). Also, character, integrity, effort, coachability, speed and agility, and potential will also be evaluated to help determine a players ability to make the team as well as singles match results. Throughout the season, your player may move up or down the ladder, and the coaches reserve the right to place a player at any position on the ladder at any time.
If you have any questions concerning the tryout process, please contact Coach Zeeb at chzeeb@pvlearners.net. I remember what it was like to try out for a team in high school, and we will make the best decision for the team without favoritism or bias.
