CLASSROOM TECHNOLOGY
Here you will find information on how technology is being used in the classroom. You will learn about how I use technology to present content to the students and how the students use technology to express what they have learned.
Parents-
If you are wondering if a book your child is reading is the proper AR level? Please check out the following website or you can download it as an app for your smartphone. Parents please check out the following website.
BookWizard: http://www.scholastic.com/bookwizard/
You can check the AR level of your child and the point level for any book they have read. I hope this helps parents figure out the AR level & point level for each book. This will also help you check your child's AR progress towards their quarterly goal.
Parens please feel free to log on to AR using the following website below:
https://hosted23.renlearn.com/711559/default.aspx.
You or your child will need to use their OTHER password to log on and check their progress to their quarterly AR goal. They are able to AR test in my classroom or during our weekly Library time. If you would like to have your child test before school they can do that as well. The WWA library is usually open by 8:15am Monday-Friday. Also they can come to my classroom by 8:20am to AR test as well if needed. I will also help them get used to AR testing in school so they feel more comfortable. Also we will be STAR testing every 2 weeks to progress monitor the children's progress throughout the school year. If you have any questions please let me know.
