DE REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Pure DUAL

Pure Dual refers to classes offered at Horizon where the students must be admitted, registered and paid for the entire class in order to enter and remain in the class.

We do require payment to hold a seat as space is limited.

The following classes are Pure Dual:

English 5-6 DE
ENG 101-102
Biology DE - CLOSED/WAITLISTED
Honors Biology DE - CLOSED/WAITLISTED
College Algebra DE

ALL OTHER DUAL CLASSES WILL COMPLETE REGISTRATION IN AUGUST

This form will complete both the Horizon and Rio Salado course registration. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT RIO SALADO TO CONDUCT REGISTRATION FOR THESE CLASSES. This form is also needed to place students in the Horizon class as well.

Honors Biology (BIO 100) :

EdReady Reading Assessment. No minimum score

Biology (BIO 100) :

EdReady Reading Assessment. No minimum score

College Algebra:

Option #1: 3.0 Cumulative Unweighted GPA (11th/12th Grade Only)

Option #2: EdReady College Algebra Placement. Minimum Score of 80.

Option #3: NextGen AAF. Minimum Score of 263.

ENGLISH 5-6 (ENH110/111) 11th Grade: EdReady Reading Assessment. No minimum score

ENGLISH 101 (ENG 101) 12th Grade:

Option #1: 2.6 Cumulative Unweighted GPA (11th/12th Grade Only)

Option #2: EdReady English Placement. Minimum Score of 80.

STEP 3: Complete REGistration

Pre-Registration should be completed now. Rio Salado will begin formally enrolling students at the beginning of March. Payment will be expected by the end of the school year. If more time is needed to make payment, please email Chase Bennett at chbennett@pvschools.net

Step 4: Wait for confirmation

When you submit your request using our form you will get a confirmation automatically from Google Forms.

Once Rio Salado enrolls you into the class (Beginning in Late April/Early May), you will get an email from Rio and Horizon alerting you to make payment

Step 5: Make Payment to RIO Salado

After your confirmation email from Horizon and Rio make paying in the Rio Student Center or by calling 480-537-8330

PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE YOUR CHILD WILL BE PLACED IN THE HORIZON CLASS

You can either submit proof of payment or payment plan to chbennett@pvschools.net OR Horizon will get confirmation of the payment and move you into the Horizon dual class.
