This term we are going to know what it means to write an amazing paragraph. (one idea expanded to include some detail.)

• A Topic Sentence

• Cool Topic Words

• Variety of Sentence types - simple, complex, long or short

• Variety of Sentence beginnings

• Punctuation

• A Concluding Sentence

The first half of the term:

Adding detail to word groups to make amazing sentences.

Concentrating on writing a clear topic sentence.

Using correct punctuation - all the time.

The second half of the term:

We're going to join our sentences together so that they tell a short story in a paragraph.

We'll look at different sorts of sentence beginnings to make our writing more interesting to read.

Using concluding sentences to round off our ideas.
