SCHOOL INFORMATION
Timnath Middle/High School is located on Prospect Road - just east of I-25 (4700 E. Prospect)
Park/drop off in the east student lots and enter through the music entrance doors (on the EAST side of the school). The music entrance doors will unlock for student entry beginning 10 minutes before the scheduled class time, and will lock for safety/security during the class time.

ADVANCED PROGRAM
The Poudre School District Advanced9 Music Program is open to any student that will be attending a PSD high school next year. Students not attending a PSD school in the fall may participate as space allows.
The summer advanced classes are full concert bands and full string orchestras (not individual instrument classes). The focus of the program is to prepare a short concert that is presented on the last day of classes.
Classes are taught by professional music educators - often by the teachers students will have either in middle school or high school. For that reason, we recommend that students attend the site closest to their home school - students will not only get to know their future music teachers, but many of the students that will be in their band and orchestra classes in the fall as well.

The summer advanced orchestra is an opportunity for high school students to continue to play their instruments over the summer. The focus of the orchestra will be on learning approximately four pieces of music that will be performed at a final concert on Friday, June 20.
Poudre School District is closed on June 19, so there will be NO CLASSES on Thursday, June 19
Students should bring their instrument and all accessories needed to play. Music will be provided.
If you are currently using a MIDDLE SCHOOL instrument and don't have an instrument from your HIGH SCHOOL yet, contact the orchestra director where you will attend classes next year and let them know you need an instrument for summer music. Orchestra directors contact information is at the bottom of this page. We recommend you make this contact as soon as possible as teachers may not be available once summer begins.
Final concert will be held at 6:00pm at Timnath Middle/High School. Parents are encouraged to attend.
