INTRODUCTION
Advanced - The Poudre School District Summer Advanced Program is designed for students that will be in high school next year - or for those students who have just graduated. The classes are taught by professional music educators – often, the teachers students will have in high school.
DATES
Dates for the 2026 Summer advanced program are Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 12.

Advanced Orchestra at Timnath Middle/High School
Advanced Band at Rocky Mountain High School or Timnath Middle/High School
REGISTER
Registration is a TWO-STEP process:
REGISTRATION IS OPEN APRIL 15 to MAY 27
STEP 1 - PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEE
If you/your child is currently a PSD Student, click https://www.schoolpay.com/link/Summer-Music-Current-PSD-Student to pay the $52.50 fee.
Summer Music is subject to fee waiver for qualifying students. If you’re interested in requesting a fee waiver, please see the Student Fees and Charges section on the PSD Website.
If you/your child is NOT currently a PSD Student, click https://www.schoolpay.com/link/Summer-Music-Non-PSD-Student to pay the $52.50 fee.
Fee waivers are only available for current PSD students. All Non-PSD students must pay to participate.

After payment has been made, you will get a receipt - You will need your receipt number (the transaction #) to complete step 2.
STEP 2 - CLASS REGISTRATION
Click HERE to go to the Summer Music registration (Clicking will take you to https://forms.gle/p5i2DuRz6z8wUr3C8).
Once you have paid and completed the Google Form registration, you are done. YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE A COPY OF YOUR REGISTRATION from GOOGLE. THIS EMAIL SERVES AS YOUR CONFIRMATION. A final email with any last minute information will be sent two weeks before classes begin.
I MISSED THE REGISTRATION WINDOW - CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?
Yes! The reason we do a pre-reigstration for the advanced program is so the teachers can determine the level of the music they need to choose and the instruments they need to have music for. If you have decided to participate AFTER May 27, we ask that you complete the payment and class registration links (the links will stay active) AND email the instructor to let them know you will be attending. Students can join the advanced program through the end of the first week of classes.
CHANGES AFTER YOU HAVE REGISTERED
If you have completed your registration (both steps) and something comes up that requires you to change or cancel your registration, contact Scott Schlup (Summer Music Coordinator) at sschlup@psdschools.org

Please remember that PSD Teachers are on summer vacation from the last day of school until the program begins - they may be slow to respond. If you cannot get a reply, contact Scott (above). Scott may not have the answer since teachers establish the information/requirements for their classes
