The first grade dancers and choreographers in Classes 1-201 and 1-309 have been studying the use of texture and movement quality in choreography. In these short selections, they performed a thematic phrase with a texture of their choosing and then created a variation on the phrase, adding in their own movements to further explore this texture. The students then used voicethread to view each other's work and give critical feedback and commentary to their peers. Check out this exciting project!
