National Honor Society

The D.H. Conley High School Viking Chapter of the National Honor Society is a nationally recognized honor society comprised of dedicated students who meet the national and chapter requirements for membership. Students must achieve a weighted GPA of 3.6 (rounded 3.55) to be inducted their junior year of high school and maintain this until graduation. Seniors not inducted/eligible their junior year can become eligible during their senior year after a transcript review.

Faculty adviser for this chapter is Christy Sutton, located in room 201

Membership Dues:

$12. Must be paid to earn points, wear the gold NHS stole at graduation, and have the NHS sealed diploma. Dues help pay for yearly national chapter dues, induction ceremony supplies, local-based scholarships, and more.

Service Projects & Volunteering

Students must complete 150 points (approximately 15 hours per year or 30 hours total) or more to earn the privilege of wearing the honor cords at the graduation ceremony. Members have 2 years to earn the minimum number of points.
