Resources for Teachers:
We have many online resources through our virtual library catalog that you and your students can use to enhance your lessons. We also have book check out for teachers so you can enhance your teaching with our paper resources and books. Note that all books and paper materials are due back to the Media Center two weeks after check out time and you can always renew them. See below for a list of resources you can use. Contact me for password information when applicable.

3) Log into system: Use your PGCPS Credentials.
4) You will see Home and Catalog Tabs
a) Home Tab: Offers Online resources, Ebooks, and Teacher and Student Resources
b) Catalog Tab: Search for books that we have in the Media Center, see if they are available and check your account.
Kennedy Center: Changing Education Through the Arts (CETA) Program

Teaching Books Website
The Teaching Books website is a wonderful resource for K-12 teachers approved by our school system. Check out the Educator Area page for thematic booklists, book awards, valuable links, and customized reports for teachers.

Thinkport is created by Maryland Public Television (MPT) and Johns Hopkins University Center for Technology in Education (CTE) and is a helpful resource for teachers with lesson builders, student activity builders, activity kits, lesson plans, online field trips, and more.
