This tenth grade course will concentrate on the history of the modern world, both non-Western and Western, from the mid 1800s through to the present day. Topics will include foreign policy, political systems, social and cultural change, and economic trends.

World War I and the Russian Revolution
The World Between Wars
World War II
The Cold War Era
Developing Nations Emerge
The World Today
*Students in the Honors level may choose to take AP European History in the place of World History II in their sophomore year.
The textbook used for both Academic and Honors World History I is Savvas' World History 2022 edition, which is available both in hard copy and online.
