Sight Words

High frequency words (also called sight words) are words that students see most often in print and in their own writing. High frequency words are words that students know automatically. Having a vast sight word vocabulary increases a child's rate of fluency, which also improves comprehension. The following is a list of high frequency words students will be exposed to in kindergarten.

Please practice the words so that your child can read them in a "SNAP"!.

If your child master's reading them with ease, practice spelling them!!!
