Donor's Choose is a fantastic organization that allows a partnership between the public and public schools. They proudly state that their mission is to "make it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need, moving us closer to a nation where students in every community have the tools and experiences they need for a great education" Funding for schools, especially those in high-poverty areas, does not always provide us with all of the resources needed to make the most of our children's learning experience. Based on my experience securing funding for my students and advocating for the teachers at PAES, I was nominated to become an official Teacher Advocate at DonorsChoose. As a Teacher Advocate, I’ll be working with teachers at PAES to unlock even more funding for our students this year!
