Correlation to the ISTE Standards

How does the Mobile Makerspace Program integrate the ISTE Standards for digital age learning?

Today's students need more access to a variety of learning experiences and the opportunity to create. As educators we need to mentor and model students in authentic problems solving, global issue exploration, growth mindset, perseverance, and reflection on their learning experiences . The ISTE Standards for Students and the ISTE Standards for Educators frameworks guide our work as we empower learners and rethink our approach to student driven learning. This website is a meant to be used as a model to mentor students as they become empowered learners, knowledge constructors, innovative designers, and computational thinkers. It is also meant to provide assistance to educators as they continue to be learners, leaders, designers, and facilitators in the maker landscape.
