2024-2025 PHS TROJAN MARCHING BAND

Student Staff

Role:

Is the main liason between the Director/Drum Majors and the members of each section.  Assists in the teaching of drill and is responsible for running sectionals as assigned by the Director.  Section Leaders must set a positive example at all times by knowing his/her music and drill, as well as demonstrating appropriate behavior and attitude both on and off the field.

Audition:

• • complete a leadership application and submit a hard copy to Mr. Lerew/Mrs. Figueroa no later than May 20, 2024

  • schedule an interview (email either Mr. Lerew or Mrs. Figueroa for a link to times)

  • Attend PHS Band Student Leadership Camp on August 9 & 10, 2024 (to be held in the Band Room )

All essays must be submitted by hard copy to Mr. Lerew or Mrs. Figueroa

NO LATER than 3:00 PM on Monday, May 20, 2024

Please note:

Students who were section leaders for the 2023-24 school year must reapply.  If no one from a particular section applies, a leader from another section will be asked to cover both sections.  Nobody will be named “default” section leader.
