Greetings parents and students! Thank you for visiting my website!
Meet the Teacher!
This is my 17th year in education and I am so happy to be a 4th grade teacher in the Parkland School District at Ironton Elementary School. I have several past teaching experiences which have all helped me become the teacher I am today. As a child, I knew I always wanted to be a teacher! I decided to attend Moravian College because they are known for an outstanding teacher preparation program.
My teaching career started at the Centennial School of Lehigh University where I taught high school and elementary emotional support. While teaching at Centennial, I earned my Master's Degree in Special Education from Lehigh University. I also taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade at Paxinosa Elementary School in the Easton Area School District before coming to Parkland. I came to Parkland in 2014 and was a Special Education Learning Support teacher here at Ironton until 2022. I am SO excited to be back in General Education, and 4th grade is my FAVORITE grade to teach! This is going to the #BESTYEAREVER !
Contact Information:
Email is the best way to contact me, but feel free to call if it is easier. I always try to return e-mails and phone calls within 36 hours. Please do not message me on Seesaw with important information, as I strictly use this application to share photos and videos of what we are learning in Room 217. Feel free to "like" and comment on any photos as you wish, though. The students love to see that positive recognition and interaction!
