Classroom Guidance

Every year, I look forward to entering each of the classrooms to provide interactive classroom guidance lessons. These lessons give

    • me the opportunity to teach various interpersonal, problem solving and/or conflict resolution skills while becoming more aquainted with the cetronia students. Below is a brief discription of the focus of the lesson at each grade level. Kindergarten-

        1. Identifying personality traits/connecting traits to career choices

        3. Perspective taking

      1. Problem solving

    • Fifth Grade

        1. Activating the bystander -helping those who are bullied

        2. Respect- recognizing diversity, understanding and avoiding cliques

        3. Responsibilty- choosing to do the right thing
