Xello - Career Exploration

Our Elementary School Counselors wanted to take a moment to introduce you to our career education platform that we are using this year in the Parkland School District: Welcome to Xello!

“Xello is an engaging online program that helps students build the skills, knowledge and plans to be future ready. The program uses an investigative, discovery-based learning process. Students better understand themselves, their future career options, and the 21st century skills they’ll need to succeed.”

Xello K-2 may look familiar to those who have had experience with “Career Town” through past lessons with your school counselor. Xello 3-5 has a new look with more resources for our students to access.

Here’s how to access Xello:

· Have your child log in to Clever:

· Find the “Xello app” and click on it:

· This should automatically log them in to the appropriate Xello experience (K-2 or 3-5).

· If your child is in grades 3, 4, or 5, have them complete the “About Me” section first, then move to the “Careers” section, followed by the “My Goals” section.

· In grades 3-5, once the “About Me,” “Careers,” and “My Goals” sections are complete, they can now access their Missions. 3^rd grade completes the first TWO missions, 4th grade has to complete the first FOUR missions, and 5^th grade has to complete all SIX missions.
