School exchanges

The exchanges we normally do involve a class (usually 15 -20 students,  but  they can be  more), accompanied by two teachers, which will spend one week/8 days in a foreign country as a guest of the  partner school.Foreign students are housed by our students, living the life  of an Italian  family  for a week, participating in lessons, trips, or working together on a project. The same hospitality is offered to Italian partners abroad. The teachers usually  stay  at a hotel. Some  guest schools  want  a  focus  on economy,  and therefore we take them to visit factories or meet representatives from local companies, others want to focus on art, or  geography, or art. Other groups just want a cultural visit. All food expenses are covered by the hosting family. The students only pay for transport and visits to museums etc. Our exchange partners do not necessarily study Italian. They communicate in English (or French, Spanish, German, depending on the common language)  the whole time.

Our school gives all the students the chance to participate in exchanges with students of foreign schools (we have exchanges  with schools  in Norway, Sweden, France, Spain, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands, Lithuania, China, the USA), but  the students specializing in  International Relations and  Marketing (they study 3  foreign languages) take part in exchanges with European schools as part of their curriculum

The most obvious purpose of these exchanges is to deepen the knowledge of different  cultures and languages of each student. The experience gained over the years has shown us that during the exchange, after a time lived in contact with other organizations, with other young people in other schools, the students mature, acquire greater autonomy and awareness, find new motivation to study.

We strongly  believe, after more than 20 years, that taking  part in exchanges  is really a great experience!
