About Wayne Nelson:

Attended Centralia College for 2 years before transferring to Eastern Oregon State College where I obtained my B.S. in Education. I have been teaching History and Physical Education for 22 years, 15 of those years right here in Onalaska. I have coached at Onalaska for 13 years, currently I am the Defensive Coordinator for the Logger Football team. I have four children, three girls and a boy, with my wonderful wife Pam.

I believe Physical Education is a great place to not just get both physically strong, but also mentally tough. For a well-rounded education, physical fitness is an integral part of it. You cannot separate the mind from the body. Physical education is a great place to work on attitude as well as learning lifelong health and fitness.
