About Mazen Saade:
Education: I graduated from Western Washington University with a Major in History and a Minor in Social Studies (2004). I received a Masters in Teaching from Evergreen State College (2006). I received an endorsement in Special Education from Seattle Pacific University (2009).
Employment: I have taught in the Onalaska School District since the fall of 2009. I teach special education (9-12) as well as world history. Prior to my teaching at Onalaska I did a one year term substitute teaching assignment in the Chehalis School District.
Extra Curricular: I am the Head Football Coach at Onalaska High School. I have coached football at Onalaska since 2009. As well, I have been the advisor to SAAD club a Co-Chair of Success Academy and 80's movie club liasion
Personal: I enjoy coaching, teaching, hanging out with friends, spending time at my Cabin on Hood Canal. I also love to watch sporting events. I was born and raised in Rochester Washington and Graduated from Rochester High School in 2000.

Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
DVR provides services to individuals who want to work but need assistance due to a physical, sensory, cognitive or mental disability. A DVR counselor works with each individual one-on-one to design a customized, step-by-step plan to achieve the desired job goal.
Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDA)
People with developmental disabilities and their families are valued citizens of the state of Washington. The Developmental Disabilities Administration strives to develop and implement public policies that will promote individual worth, self-respect, and dignity such that each individual is valued as a contributing member of the community.

Beginning at least one year before reaching age 18, a student with special needs must be notified that all rights will be transferred to them at age 18 unless there is a guardianship or other determination that the student cannot make educational decisions. Guardianship Information is provided for any parent who feels that they need to become the guardian of their special needs students.
