Congratulations to the Lady Loggers as they captured a state berth last Saturday by defeating the Ocosta Wildcats 1 - 0. The old coaching cliche stood up: It is hard to defeat a good team three times. Ocosta had defeated Ony 1 - 0, and 2-1 the previous two matches. By winning the Lady Loggers earned themselves a gym banner to be presented in the spring. This is their first banner since 2008.

The 12 and 7 Lady Loggers will now advance to the state tournament and play the Liberty Bell Mountain Lions, the #1 team from District 6. Liberty Bell has a perfect 15 - 0 record. The game is the Friday 11/9/18 at Liberty Bell high school (6 hours away in Winthrop, Washington) starting at 6 pm.

Congrats to the football team as they captured their first state berth since the 2010 season. They will be honored with a gym banner in the spring! This is their first banner since 2010. The 7-3 Loggers dominated a three team Kansas tie breaker last Saturday to qualify for state. Onalaska will now travel to Lake Roosevelt on Saturday 11/10/18 and play the 9-0 Raiders starting at 1:00 pm. Lake Roosevelt in located in Grand Coulee Washington - approximately 5 hours from here.
