World History 9: P1/P5

This is a survey of world social, political, cultural, and economic history, including the influence of the physical environment, from ancient civilizations to absolutism and revolution in the 18th century. Students will trace humanity’s progression through history in order to gain a perspective for understanding contemporary world events. Historical movements are examined from a critical and Biblical standpoint. Students will gain an understanding of what it means to be an active, responsible, and knowledgeable citizen of the world.
