Living in Okinawa is a huge joy and the OCSI students, faculty and staff have continually been a great support and a wonderful source of encouragement. Being here has been such an incredible blessing and I love the ocean, the culture of Okinawa, and I am so thankful for this opportunity God has given me.
Prior to coming here, I lived in Manteca, California (1 hour south of Sacramento). I taught math and history for 4 years at a small Christian school there. I was also involved with our church youth group and church camp. I have degrees in Social Sciences from Fresno Pacific University and Natural Sciences with a Mathematics emphasis from San Joaquin Delta College.
These are a few of my favorite things:
Puzzles: Logic Grids
Reading
Non Fiction: Oswald Chambers, John Piper, Alistar Begg
Fiction: Brandon Sanderson, Agatha Christie, Douglas Adams
General Interest
Studio Ghibli
Star Wars/Star Trek/Doctor Who
Marvel/Batman
Pokemon Go
My family lives in USA. My mom and step-father live in Reno, Nevada and my younger brother lives in Portland, Oregon. Even though we were all born in California, we have spread out quite a bit.
