The philosophy that underlies the teaching of technology at LDHSS is that students learn best by doing.

Students will take an activity-based, project-driven approach to learning that will provide them with knowledge, skills, and experiences in communication, fine woodworking, design, hospitality and tourism, and engineering. Our aim is to provide all of our students with a broad range of experience and skills that they will be able to apply to their life, career, and educational paths.
