Procedure

1. Draw up design of "Bush Camp Chair"

2. Develop a material list relating to the design of the chair

3. Sort material and cut to rough lengths

4. Layout material for backrest and seat and determine which pieces need to be where

5. Joint inside edges of boards for laminating the pieces together (run through jointer until the radius of the edges is gone)

6. Spread glue evenly on each jointed edge

7. Flush up ends of boards and clamp

8. Make sure to keep boards flush on the top and the bottom

9. Once glue has dried, remove clamps

10. Run backrest and seat through the planer to touch up any high spots (no less than 1 3/8" thick)

11. Place backrest and seat template on corresponding piece and trace

12. Cut out backrest and seat

13. Use router to clean up edges and sand

14. Use CNC to etch backrest (if applicable)

15. Install bracket on the back of the backrest to hold seat during transportation or storage

16. Finish with desired stain
