Introduction
For decades, Karachi has been a victim of poor sanitary conditions that are responsible for the birth of many diseases. When these issues are left unattended, they can make everyday lives of the people difficult. Garbline is a modern-day complaint management application through which an individual can submit complaints about sanitary issues in his locality. The project provides a complaint platform to citizens based on Speech Recognition and Natural Language Processing technique, and makes it easier for municipal authorities to manage complaints. The project also makes it easier to connect the common citizens with the concerned authorities through its features. The individuals will have to visit the mobile application and register themselves by following certain steps. To file a complaint after registration, the user will have to pinpoint the location of the affected area on the map, mention their complaint details through speech recognition feature and have their complaints registered. The users can manage their profiles and view the history of their previous complaints as well. The complaints will be received and managed on the authority’s end. The system is completely developed by students and faculty of Iqra University.
