Mary Rowlandson Early Childhood Philosophy

We believe children learn best when their needs are met.

Young children require:

*Hands-on experiences

*Play-based learning

*A stimulating environment

*A secure environment promoting a positive self- image

Children should come to school dressed appropriately for the weather and playing outdoors, with their blue folder, a snack, lunch (or knowledge that they are buying) and water bottle. Hopefully they will also have had a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast, and will be ready to learn!
