Any unused or gently used materials can be put to good use in the classroom -- old method books, instrument accessories that were not returned with the instrument, and especially unused reeds! These supplies help students who had something break or wear out unexpectedly, are in the process of transitioning instruments, or are unable to purchase things (like reeds) for themselves.

In the past, I have found it helpful to keep a "black & white closet" available at school for concert season. Students who may not have the ability to purchase formal attire can "go shopping" and return items after performances. I take care of laundering and ironing. If you have any gently used concert clothing items -- black bottoms, white tops, black shoes -- that you are no longer using, the closet is always welcoming donations!!
WE NEED MORE TIES!! - If you have any long neckties in your collection that are no longer the height of business fashion, we wear classic long ties in concerts and we would love to have a few to keep in the closet!
