Classroom Expectations

Behavioral Expectations:

Expectations for Student Conduct -- Expectations for Class Preparation and Organization -- Expectations for Participation in Classroom Activities

• Be Kind. Be Respectful. Be Honest. 

• Arrive to class on time and ready to learn

• Bring required materials to class every day

  • • Music Class (6, 7, & 8): 1/2-1" Binder, Pencil, Chromebook, & Headphones 

    • Concert Band (6, 7, & 8): 1/2-1" Binder [color black for concert purposes], Pencil, Instrument & Accessories needed OR Sticks (percussion), & Chromebook

• Put forth your best effort without a fear of failure. You will NEVER be penalized for a great try. You will ALWAYS be rewarded for your efforts. 

• Be supportive of peers as they work towards success, especially when it isn't achieved on the first try

• Stay Positive

• Abide by all those policies outlined in detail in the school handbook: Luther Burbank Middle School Handbook 

Schoolwork Expectations:

• Complete assignments on time, with effort, and with integrity (academic honesty). 

• Take responsibility for your work. Ask for help if you need it! 

•  Be proud of your accomplishments AND of your progress.
