Meet. Mrs. Dorio

About Me!

I would like to start off by introducing myself. My name is Marina Dorio and I'm a first grade teacher at MEC. This is my eighth year teaching first grade! I have lived in Moscow almost my entire life and attended Moscow Elementary Center myself! I am a graduate of North Pocono High School and I love being a part of the North Pocono Community. I graduated from Marywood University with a dual certificate in Special and Elementary Education and bachelor's degree in Special Education. I recently received my Master's degree from Wilkes University in Middle level Language Arts.

Aside from being a first grade teacher, I am a mother of three little girls and enjoy every second of motherhood! I love teaching first grade and spending time with my family and friends. I like visiting different places and spending time outdoors. My favorite place I ever visited was Italy and hope to visit again some day soon. In my spare time (don't get much of that!), I enjoy making crafts for my classroom and my home and I love shopping!

I am very excited to start the school year off and get to know all of my kiddos. I would like all of you to know that my door is always open and I'm here for anything you may need.
