About Mr. Jonkman

My name is Steve Jonkman and I'm happy to be the music teacher here at Slatington Elementary School. I'm a native of the Lehigh Valley and graduated from Moravian College in 2011 with a degree in Music Education. I then earned my masters in Educational Leadership through The College of New Jersey in 2018. My primary instrument is trumpet and I currently perform with the Quakertown Community Band. I enjoy traveling the world, going to concerts, spending time with my lovely wife, Caitlin, and listening to my favorite music!
