Wendy Turrentine (aka Mrs. T)

Be well, be safe, stay home! We are all in this together.

An award winning, established education professional, with ten plus years experience in education and over 30 years experience in the field of graphic design. I have a unique talent to infuse teaching strategies and industry standards to effectively engage and support students. I have excellent communication skills, ability to act as mentor and advisor to students and co-workers. Encourage a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility, life-long learning, diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professional development.

Through project based learning, in person and remotely, I encourage a positive dynamic effective learning environment that allow for connections to real world scenarios. Differentiation in learning strategies along with one-on-one instruction has allowed for continued encouragement and patience of a highly technical curriculum in a diverse learning community. Instruction is delivered to meet the needs of all student levels and all student-learning styles while allowing for student voice and recognition. Communication between all contributors is vital. In order for visual students to gain a successful learning experience, CTE and academic education must be infused to produce a supportive learning environment.
